Nice afternoon storm

Got caught out on the lake when a storm came in. It was intentional of course. Kinda just floated around the rainy stuff an hung out till the gale force winds died down. It was a blast being one of the few boats on the lake for once. (I typically only go out on weekends since my friends all have Mon-Fri jobs.)

You guys been catchin' it down there moto!
Went to Castle Rock Saturday to pick up my 5th wheel and luckily skirted a few good ones!
I'm all game for hanging out on the lake , as long as there ain't any lightning , I hate that stuff!

Yeah the zebra muscle guys would not inspect the boat when loading it up because there was too much lightning...

Have you been out since all that rain we had? It flushed all the debris from the Royal Gorge fire down to the reservoir. There was a decent write up in the Pueblo Chieftain about it. Its mostly the size of saw dust but there are logs too. Wake boats an jet skis are over heating because they are getting plugged up from the small debris. I have not seen the lake like that ever.

It doesn't surprise me.
There is going to be "bad water" for the rest of the season , but I would think it would mellow by the time it hit Pueblo Res.
Flush your system every time you take her out!
I run 99% of the time on the western slope.
Levels are low , and the "clean" water is non existent on that side too.
Next year has got to be better.
Pray for a good winter!:wink_thumbup:
