Awesome evening for boating
 

The nice thing about going out on a lake during the week is that there is no-one around.

Ended work, 20 mins later I was home, 15 mins later the boat is hooked up to the truck, 15mins later we're on the lake. The lake 750 acre lake was like a ghost town, along with zero breeze so it was flat like glass. Stayed on there just until the sun was setting: Temp was about 80 degrees.

Nice pics. Looks like an interesting little lake. I love week day boating... headed out to do some in a few hours myself.

Ahh nothing better than being the only wake. You can really get up and test top speed.

We've decided not to go boating on the weekends anymore, makes more sense for us to go after work as the lake is so close. No chaotic times at the docks, in or out.

Had the boat running very nice at around 4400rpm, right around 40mph with the 4 blade prop, which is plenty, was great. Going out again tonight :)

I love going out evenings also but with the problems my boat has I wouldn't trust it to get me back in. It's been in the shop for about a month now so hopefully it will finally get fixed.

I hear ya there!

I'm thinking we should get a bunch of us together on a decent size lake next year. Crystal Lake in Michigan is 9 miles long by 3 miles wide, perfect for WOT time :wink_thumbup:
