Lunar Eclipse
I know some folks in eastern North America might have had a chance to see it. Here are some pictures for those that didn't. It was a clear (and effin' cold!) here last night. Perfect for viewing.

I wuz workin' away in my home office & had the blinds open last night so i could watch the eclipse. Weather was perfect so we got a great show here in southern Ontario. |
Took the dogs out last night and there she was nice clear and (cold) night.

Didnt know that you guys got the moon in your part of the world (where is Canada again? north or south of Africa?). I was under the impression Apollo 11 towed it closer to America to make it easier for their Moon missions. It was cold here last night too, nearly had to put a blanket on the bed. Brrrrrrr. |
dont let our American friends fool you. They never made it to the moon. They simply landed the 'spaceship' out in the desert & pretended they made it. Proof you ask? Did you see any cheese? Did any get brought back? Everyone knows the moon is made of cheese.... ;)

what kind of camera did you use?
tried to take some with the wife camera but they didnt come out |
I used a Canon Powershot A710IS, locked off on a tripod. Manual focus, aperature priority, and the max digital zoom (24x). I used the self timer to operate the shutter so my shivering hand didn't cause the image to blur on the long exposure.
