Nashville Boat Show 2012
 

Just to share to the group. I attended this past weekend and am sorry to say I attended to see accessories and it was primarily only new boats 17-21 and very little trinkets. I had attended Indy last year and my girlfriend commented seemed alot more things were their to look at. I plan to attend Louisville in 2 weeks hoping to find better selection of iitems to look at. Nothing against these sized boats , its probably the largest size of the market. 180 month financing seemed common .

Cincinnati's boat show is the same way. If you want to buy a bass boat, or an $85k wakeboard boat, that's the show to go to. They try and lump three shows into one. It's called the "Travel, Sports and Boat show".

I'm going to Cleveland's boat show this weekend. HUGE show, and they cover all spectrums of boating, from dinghys to 65 foot cruisers, power and sail. Plus all sorts of accessories, product and vendor displays. I've attached a pic from the 2010 show. This was just a small section that showed up in the photo. And Yes, that's a 125 ft indoor ferris wheel, the largest indoor one in the country! :)

I'm going with one of my good friends, who's brand new 33ft sailboat is being displayed with one of the dealers there.

Just back from the Louisville Boat Show. On a scale of 1-10 the Nashville show was a 3 and the Louisville show would score by me a 7 and I know its unfair do to this show had campers. But at the end of the day I would not attend the Nashville show again, I would wait for the Louisville show. Louisville had more accessories to look at and I spent $0.00 at Nashville I bought $ 100.00 at the Louisville show. The attendance at the Louisville show was 2 -3 x more people, just my opinion from my perspective.
