Hi Mark,
I do not know of anyone that boats that lake. I do know of it and know people who go there often in the summer. It is supposed to be very nice. |
Its not like it sounds no bugs. Just thought you would go up there boatman because it looks like you are close by. I do dock up there it is about 1 hour away for me but i love it. Its a state park so if you can get a dock its only $400.00 bucks not a bad deal. :spinning_jumping_to Well time to hit the games. I have to much time.

I'll take my "Sparrow" Lake over Mosquito lake ....:rolling_laugh:
Our lake was named after Mr. William Sparrow that was either killed or drowned on the lake. Some say it was over a love triangle that existed between himself and an Indian brave's love interest. The indian brave was never seen around the area ever again. It used to be called " Sparrows Lake " .. but later shortened to Sparrow Lake. Ok .. now I sound like a freaking story teller.. LOL! I tried to google find the exact wording of how the lake came to be named, but I couldnt find it. |
Mosquito Lake was named because there are s*&t loads of mosquitos there. :rolling_laugh:
|
probably has mosquitoes about the size of small hawks..... :eek_animated:
