what a drive home

Well, my gf and I had a more then lovely day cruising around the lake today. It was 100% glass around 11am this morning. However, I think a bit of chop can be good for the boat.

Anyhoo, on the way home I saw a certain type of car and I told my gf to quickly grab the camera .............................

Nice! There's someone here in town with a red & white one. Pretty sweet.

Hey, a Ford GT 40! For anyone who watches "Top Gear" they'll recognize that car as the same one Jeremy Clarkson has.

Nice Flckr movie. Lot's of neat pics and a decent Mariah to boot!

That is EXACTLY why I had my gf snap the picture!!! Im glad you took notice of it.

Otherwise, I was going to make a new thread and see if someone could ID the boat saying it was indeed a Mariah .. OR . it was one of the old mariah hulls that were sold off to that other boat company (for the larger hulls).

Back to the car ... yeah I think canadian pricing its around $250,000 :wink_thumbup:

If you took a look at all the pics you will see me sticking my tongue out at my gf.. lol.

The photos that follow (in sequence) of the power lines etc, are all taken outside of Bondhead on a backroad. The evening shots are the ones of the sunset Saturday night and the photos that follow are from 11am to 1pm sunday on the boat.

...and here I thought by the thread title you were gonna show us pictures of you "parked" on the 400... :rolling_laugh:

Nice photos. Those fall colours are starting to creep in.

If I can get my ducks in a row, I'm hoping to spend next weekend on the water. I know it's been too long since I was out as my throttle hand is starting to switch.:big_chuckle:

Nah the 400 isnt bad, sure it bunches up around the north end of barrie and into bayfield. But its nothing like long weekend traffic.

Have you see the forecast ?? Possible rain sat .. otherwise its +22 range ! :wink_thumbup:
