Gotta ask....
So I just recently ordered a new cover for my boat... and when we finish with our outing of tubing and now more recently wakeboarding, we pull the boat on a trailer and take it back to storage.. I was wondering if I should pull to the boat to the storage without a cover on it to try and air dry it on the way over (trip is about 10 mins) or would I be okay if placed the cover on it after we pulled it out of the water. Not sure, probably a very probe question, but figured I'd ask. Thanks in advance!
Kenny Or should I just take a towel and wipe down the interior real quick before I put the cover on it.. |
Re: Gotta ask....
I don't pull my boat with the cover on. That is a good way to stretch out the cover and shorten it's lifespan. I would suggest wiping down the inside, also wipe down the exterior (that way lake scum is gone and road dirt doesn't stick to your wet boat, I use spray wax while wiping down the exterior). Take all wet stuff out (life jackets, towels etc.) before covering. I would also suggest a vent in your cover if it does not have any check out "boat vent 2" They work well for me. Good luck, happy boating Kenny!
