I don't know if this is a problem over the pond in the US, but here in the UK Photobucket has decided to hold us to ransom over third party sharing of images.
Unless we're prepared for fork out hard earned cash they have locked down any images that have been uploaded to their site!
I've just had a look back through my posts and threads and they have been trashed.....

My U.S. Photobucket account is ok, but there are a lot of ads these days. I suppose the first image (link) I stuck in this post isn't really 3rd party hosted though.

Photobucket (or Pissbucket as it is better known) is causing issues everywhere. Some have switched to Flicker but i think you are better off buying a good flash drive or a separate portable hard drive and storing your photos there. No one can hold those for ransom....

Photobucket wants you to pay for an account before they will let your images be visible on another site, like this one. For those of you with Firefox, Chrome or Opera, there is an add-on, Photobucket Hotlink, that fixes it. But everyone would have to install it. I don't know if there is an add-on for other browsers.

Yup, ever since the Photobucket debacle, I also installed this add-on, just so I can see the "ransomed" photos.
