New stereo

Hey,

I want to install a new stereo in my Mariah SX19.
What do you think of the brand Fusion, or other suggestions?

4 speakers, 260 each, 1 sub 400 Watt, enough?

Thank you!
Paul

Re: New stereo

which fusion are you looking at? I am looking to do the same thing on my z210 but i want to do 6 speakers (the factory 4 and two on the swim platform). These are the only ones that I can find that have a multiple zone. I thought about putting the ones on the swim platform on a switch to disconnect the + wire and then when floating just flip the switch to activate the speakers. I just don't know if I can justify paying $500 for a stereo. At least not to the other half anyways. :argue:

Re: New stereo

I really like the Fusion brand. I originally installed the MS-IP500 in our Z302. This past winter I upgraded to the MS-Ip700 as I am most impressed with the WiFi control from our apple products.

I have my original Ms-IP500 still, in its original box and original un-cut wiring (as it and the new 700 share the same harness), along with all the original sleeves to hold the various apple players.

If you dig back a bit, It is still in the 4 sale section for $200 http://www.mariahownersclub.com/foru...head-unit.html and is still for sale.

The only differences between the new and older model is a color screen (500 is black/white), the Wifi feature and NMEA compatibility.

I have mine wired this way:

Zone 1 - Front Main Cockpit/sub
Zone 2 - Rear Main Cockpit/sub
Zone 3 - Bow
Zone 4 - Swim step
