Possibly a new Mariah boat Owner?

I am looking at a 1996 Mariah Shabah with the 4.3L in it. No hour gauge, but the boat looks like its been sitting under a cover in a garage almost all its life!.. No damage, the engine compartment and engine is clean. no damages to the hull.. Were taking it out tonight for a run on the lake, but was wondering how much its worth, and if it is a decent boat to own?.. will it pull tubes and skis? will it pull a hot dog tube with adults?.. They are asking 7,800. I was thinking about 7,200. Let me know, thanks much!

What size is it? There's more than one size called Shabah in '96.

Its a pretty popular model. If it's propped right it will easily pull skiiers/wakeboards/tubers etc with the 4.3L. The problem you have is the time of year. Buying at the start of the season always commands the best prices for the seller.

Yeah, it should pull whatever you want it to.
I would think that even 72 is a tad high for a 15 yr old 18' boat. On the other hand, if there's nothing else comparable in your area it might be worth it and also it's not traditionally the best time to buy, as Mikey said.
