Had a great weekend out sking and tubing, On are way back to marina at about 45 MPH. water started coming out from under side of dash (drivers side) when I stopped the boat, the water also stopped. I noticed the speedaometer was also not working. Started on our way again and no water. Does the speedometer water tube go all the way to the back of the guage or does it hook up to another cable with a gear before gauge ? Happened one more time but then stopped. Has anyone had this expience? Do you all think it would be the speedometer water tube? Thanks for your time!

IT DID HAPPEN TO ME. HAD TO CUT 2" OFF BY THE GUAGE IT HAD A LITTLE CRACK IN IT. EASY FIX:wink_thumbup:

Hi rooperdan,

Sounds like the speedometer water tube came off the back of the gauge or like Mark, you've got a crack in the line under the dash. It's a straight shot from the outdrive to the transom to Speedometer (which is just a low pressure air gauge).
